Hillsborough Lake.

Hillsborough Lake is a lake in Hillsborough Forest Park. It is not a famous fishing water but it is frequently stocked and houses some fine rainbow trout, some of which have been caught of up to 9lb.

The best way to catch these hard fighting fish is to use a black colored Toby spinner. Fly-Fishing is also permitted, but only in certain parts of the lake. The only bait allowed in Hillsborough are worms.

Hillsborough is also surrounded by a large amount of trees, so beware when casting, or you might lose your tackle!
